Each campaign program workout ends in a combat encounter.

Each 1 minute round of combat will require you to do a different exercise based on your roll for each round. The stronger the enemy, the more rounds of combat it will take to defeat it. Think of it like using different attacks to defeat an enemy for each round of combat.

Don’t want to roll dice? Flee combat by completing steady-state cardio instead or choose your own adventure based on the provided combat chart.

Also, not all programs require dice.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • D20 Training offers training programs that combine RPGs and fitness. These programs all require a set of dice!

    Not into RPGs but want to train? Select a base program. All of the workouts and none of the goblin fighting or dragon slaying.

    Want something really specific or want your own, personalized adventure? Fully personalized programs are also available, with and without dice rolling.

  • Pick your favorite! Pick your current character’s! Or, select from the class that has goals most similar to yours.

    Barbarian: As the party’s tank, you’re after strength and power. You want to swing a really, really, really, REALLY big axe. You are ready to take damage for your party and keep on swinging. This program uses low rep ranges to help you focus on building power. This program is not recommended for first time gym adventurer.

    Fighter: Get ready to do some serious damage. This program uses supersets to help you build the strength and endurance every fighter needs. And a superset is basically a gym action surge, right?

    Rogue: Sneaking around, picking locks, and stealing loot requires some serious body control. This program offers calisthenics and mobility based workouts to help you pass every stealth check.

    Cleric: You’re looking for a challenge that is both mental and physical. Stability and strength focused workouts in this program use isometric holds to help clerics build strength in their divine quest supporting their party.

    Wizard: Want to work on your concentration spells? This program combines stability and mind-body connection in yoga-inspired workouts. This program is ideal for anyone with very limited access to equipment.

  • There are two supply pack options to choose from. Selecting a supply pack assumes you have access to:

    Explorer pack: Dumbbells, bench (ideally an adjustable bench). Wizard and rogue class also require a yoga mat. Rogue class requires also resistance bands.

    Traveler pack: Dumbbells, adjustable bench, squat rack, cable machine, basic gym machines. Rogue class requires TRX access for this pack only. Barbarian class requires a squat rack.

    Swaps may be requested for all programs!

  • Billing for all programs is every 4 weeks through the Everfit app. All programs are set up into 3 in 4 week blocks.

    Base programs: $35/block

    Campaign programs: $40/block or full campaign of 12 weeks for $96 total (20% discount!)

    Fully personalized programs: $50/block or full 12 week program for $120 (20% discount!)

  • Of course not! You can engage in the combat encounters in whatever way you choose. Choose your own adventure! Also, fleeing combat is always an option (so long as you do your cardio).

Who is D20 Training?

Hi, I’m Rae. I’ve been an ACE certified Group Fitness Instructor since 2022 and an ACE Certified Personal Trainer since 2023. I started competing in powerlifting in 2024. I’ve always been active in the “nerd” community. In 2024 is when it all changed: I started playing Baldur’s Gate 3 in an effort to learn Dungeons and Dragons. Why? Because I was volun-told I was going to be my group’s Dungeon Master. I had only ever played one session before… many years prior.

Fast forward to 2026: My life revolves around it! Rolling dice, building characters, and creating stories started to seep into other areas of my life, like my other primary hobby: the gym.

I decided to merge my two hobbies and provide workout programs for people like me: the nerds that like to lift heavy things, roll dice, and play make believe with their friends.

Besides, who doesn’t want to roll dice in the gym?
